Hello,
My name is Hui Kim, I am a recent Geographical Information System (GIS) graduate interning with June Bancroft at The Oregon Health Authority. In 2015, you received a request from June for data on your water service area boundaries. The goal of this project is to create a statewide water system distribution map layer for use GIS analysis. This data will inform public health when there are reports of increased illness, concerns about water system contamination, and any type of emergency planning – floods, earthquakes, or other natural disasters. June sent a letter introducing the project, and requesting your participation.
Limited time and resources delayed our ability to follow up on data requests and create the ArcGIS online application. With my arrival, the project has been jump started and I look forward to working with you to obtain your data for inclusion in the map. According to our records, you were willing to participate, but we did not receive data from you. So we are reaching out again. Your response has been attached for reference.
Please send me an email when you are ready to send your data, and I will reply with a secure email. Attach your data to the secure email and it will be encrypted by the state email system.
