Hi Jenn,

Hope you had a merry Christmas.

As requested, we ran the numbers for the full depth section (curb to curb) 200 ft on either side of the Main Street intersection. We estimate that the additional cost will be approximately $20K. If there is potential that the parking lanes will be used for turn lanes in the near future, it does seem prudent to consider this as part of the current project. Let us know and we can update the typical section and estimate.

As requested we have included language in the special provisions to require a static roller on the cement treated subgrade.

Also, as you suggested, we have removed the cross sections from the plan set to reduce the number a sheets. We will add a note that the cross section grades will be available from the Engineer during construction.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

I would like to see what the additional cost would be to build full depth (curb to curb) 200 ft on either side of the Main Street intersection, beginning at the proposed sawcut line.

Also, do we have something (note, standard or special) that says only to static roll the cement amended soil.

Thank you,
