Subject: Lead and Copper Sample customer credit.
The Water Treatment Operators will be collecting lead and copper samples from specific customers in the next month. These samples have to be collected at the customers tap, by the customer. We have had some difficulty in the past in getting the sample bottles back in time to send to the Lab. A few years ago we were able to give a $20 credit to the customers on their utility bill if they returned that sample back to us within 48hrs. This seemed to work well. I was hoping this is something we could continue to do. I spoke with Jennifer Cline and Dan Huff about this and they said it would not be a problem. I have attached a list of addresses for the lead and copper test sites. When we receive the samples back I will notify you of which customers qualified for the credit.
