Not sure if this is even useful to us since we don’t typically own J-boxes

Subject: infrastructure security

I hope this is a few minutes of your valuable time that can make a difference, we are the manufacture of The Lockjaw! Utility Box Security Lid that is being implemented on the west coast up and down California and moving into the Pacific Northwest and approved by Caltrans for any project statewide. What started as only a copper wire theft deterrent has grown into fiber optics and brass valves being secured by The Lockjaw! we can make our units for both old utility boxes that are in place and new boxes for projects in progress now, please note our website is by design vague on the exact inner works of the units so I will attach a spec sheet that will give a better idea and some features that will keep your infrastructure safe for many, many years.

· Hot Dipped Galvanizing & Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing give The Lockjaw! a 50 to 70 year maintenance schedule in the harshest weather.

· Indirect access to the security bolts.

· Opposing force on each end to harden the target to a level that will deter unauthorized access in to any utility box.

· Not shown are some secondary security devices that only the city , county DOT would have access or knowledge of.

· Marked or Unmarked units as needed, please see the photo attached to see the standard way with the marking plate and what we have done for specific orders for Caltrans and can make either the standard for you.

· Flexibility to secure utility boxes that have been in ground for years with basic dimensions.

Please call my direct line with any questions you have or email and look forward speaking with you . Please contact Kortick Manufacturing in Hayward Ca for a better list of TDG products and better information on Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing ( TDG or Armor Galv )

Thank You,
