I had the post included in my price so we’ll have to adjust for that if your installing them.
I was planning on using 4” x 6” pressure treated post. I have them drawn to keep the bottom of the sign at least 12” up from the concrete surface so they would need to be approximately 40” long (Tall).
Just as kind of an unwritten rule, we always try to keep the sign at least 12” or more above the ground or over time rain will splatter off the ground & dirt up onto the sign making it dirty twice as fast.

What type of posts were you recommending we install? We have taken the old sign down, erected a flower box and want to put the posts in before the dirt goes is. Please advise the size of the post and the height we should leave them at minimum. They can always be cut down to size but want to leave you enough post to do the install.

At this point I’d like to do a little refining to the sign. There’s a lot of negative space above “Molalla” & “Hall” that I need to use some how to balance the sign design better. I just learned my sand blaster is going into the hospital on the 20th to repair a perforated intestine from an old injury. He said he shouldn’t be recovering very long, only about a week. I don’t think it’s going to affect what we’re doing but it might possibly delay the manufacturing process for about a week.

Hello Scott,
I was referred to you by some of my colleagues. The City of Molalla is in need of a new sign that will be showcased in front of City Hall on a raised concrete block approx. 6ft long and 4ft wide. We are open to concepts utilizing wood or stone. I am liking the Lake Road sign because we do have 2 logos. The emblem is the official seal and the other is a secondary logo that could be used as a filler perhaps. There is one caveat, we need to pay for the design by June 30th. Ideally, we would like to have the sign installed by July 2nd which we understand may not be feasible.
I would be very interested in meeting with you and become more informed of you process and pricing. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
