Free Forklift and Flagger Classes

The Oregon Technology Transfer (T2) Center is conducting the following free classes, and you are invited to send employees who may need the training.

Forklift Operator Training

This is a basic forklift class geared toward establishing a sound foundation and developing the skills of the inexperienced or novice forklift operator. The class consists of 2 ½ hours classroom time with a written test followed by individual operator evaluation. 3 year certificate awarded.

When: Thursday, October 15

Time: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Where: Eugene, Oregon

Safe Forklift Operation

This is a safety awareness and skill evaluation class for experienced operators. It satisfies the OR-OSHA requirement that employers recertify the competency of operators every three years. Please note that this is not an initial certification class for new operators.

When: Monday, October 19

Time: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Where: Albany, Oregon

Public Agency Work Zone Traffic Control

Participants in this class receive a flagger certification card that is valid for three years and may choose to receive 0.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), if needed.

When: Wednesday, November 18

Time: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Where: Gresham, Oregon
