Attachments: IMG_1221.JPG; Hi Dan, Gravity Filter #4 was showing leaking signs as well. So the crew drained filter #4 and performed an inspection. As suspected same issue occurring as Filter #1. See photo Update on filters and repairs... Filter #3 - Up and running with new media from last year. Jason made minor repair to one of the auto-valves last week. Filter #2 - Inspection complete, minor repairs are being made this week. Jason has media ordered to place next week. Filter should be online late next week Filter #1 - Support and floor repairs with Epoxy sealant need, re-secure subfloor, and add new media. Waiting on quote. If quote comes back high again. An RFI will be sent out to find a contractor to make the repairs, at this point should include Filter #4 as well. Filter #4 - Support and floor repairs with Epoxy sealant need and add new media Backwash – The backwash pump flow is too high and washes media into the AB. A VFD was purchased and is being installed to reduce the backwash flow to optimum levels. I'm not sure why this was not identified in the original design and construction of the Filters. This is the middle vertical bracket on the south side of filter. The other brackets are showing broken paint and rusting. It's hard to say if they are leaking yet, but the paint is cracked and chipping away and the metal is rusting...basically, future breaks/leaks waiting to happen.
