Hi Mike,

Here is the biodegradable soap I approved for the Fundraiser carwash this weekend.

I did also let her know that we are seeing record level low flows in the river and making efforts on getting the message out about water conservation. I also mentioned the message on your reader board and left it up to her to continue with the fundraiser. Mainly because it may be noticed and look badly. I also asked her to be conservative about their use and not to waste the water. I asked that they uses hand sprayers on the end of the hoses and not to just let the water run out the end.

Moving forward, if the council imposes water restrictions, we may need to eliminate all fundraising car washes. I will let your know if anything comes up. Let’s just say the weather isn’t looking good for rain, but I’m sure you’re also aware of that.

Thank you,

Jennifer Cline, P.E.

Thank you for working with us on starting this new program. It’s actually been helpful, since it forces me to look things up.

Have a great event!!
