Subject: Consent Decree- Effective Date 9/4/2015
Dear Dan & Jennifer:
The Court entered the Consent Decree on Friday- see attached. This means that it is now effective. I will fill in the dates on the compliance checklist and get that over to you so you can go over it with the appropriate staff.
As usual, please let us know right away if you have any compliance issues, or if you foresee any happening so we can work to prevent them. It is especially important that you follow the rules regarding irrigation to the letter, every day for the rest of the irrigation season, and that the biosolids application is carried out without any issues. Susan Hansen and her cohorts will definitely be keeping a close eye on those operations in particular, I think.
We will be forwarding the check for attorney fees over to plaintiffs’ counsel today.
