If you cannot do it this month, there is opportunity to do in the months ahead. We can also set up a rotation shift if there multiple interest.

Jenn,
After meeting with the attorney’s today we have learned that the City needs to attempt to mitigate the issues with the birds inside the aquatic center. I will be working with a contractor/engineer in August or September to try to impede their entrance into the facility but until then I need a volunteer crew that would be willing to work on a Friday day-off or a Saturday to help clean up the bird poo and nesting debris all over the inside and outside of the facility. This will be once a month for now. I am looking at Friday July 10th or Saturday July 11th.
If possible can this work happen outside of the regular work shift so we can pay for it out of aquatic center expense and not out of the public works funds. If the crew and you would prefer to do the work to be completed in the regular work day I can make journal entries. All hours will be compensated at an overtime rate for the employee and paid through the regular payroll.
This overtime opportunity is available to anyone on the crew but I do need at least one or two guys that know how to operate the big daddy pressure washer. Some of the nests and poo are high up and I am hopeful the big pressure washer can knock them out.
As many as are willing to volunteer that better, many hands make light work J I will be on-site during the clean-up to help and answer questions.
