This is to update you regarding recent decisions on the deadline for Enhance proposals and 2019-2021 funding levels for the Enhance portion of the 2018-2021 STIP.
An email sent to you in June of this year informed you that “The OTC has been discussing funding allocations at its last few meetings and will be making their final decision at the July meeting. Because of this delay and other likely changes to the Enhance program, Enhance proposals will NOT be due August 3rd. It is anticipated that proposals will be due in November 2015”.
· The new deadline for Enhance Non-Highway proposals to be received by your respective region email address is noon Friday November 20, 2015.
· The $30 million for Enhance in the three years (2019-2021) of the STIP will be allocated using the Regional Equity Formula.
· Due to the limited amount of Enhance funds, it was decided that highway projects will not be eligible for those funds. Therefore you will see the program referred to as Enhance Non-Highway.
