I can get a costs from several testing firms or we can do once we are underway with the project. My approach was going to assume poor soil conditions based on our prior conversations and design conservatively, but we can have a design section done by a geotechnical subconsultant so that you have a report to reference in the future. I’m headed to Redmond but can do when I get back in the office on Monday and we can always discuss option and alternatives. I want to make sure you are comfortable with the results and have what you need for future unforeseeable things. I’m thinking about private development not wanting to build a proper section. One other thing I forgot to mention, out soils here are horrible. We will want to include 2-3 geotechnical cores for soil samples along Section St. It is on the higher elevation side of town, but I’m still nervous on what we may find under the concrete.
