Here are the latest updates, including scans of a decent used water tanker truck out of Tacoma.
The water tanker at the wwtp is a dinosaur that needs to be surplused and the tank is 4000 gallons, much too big for our needs.
Existing 1973 water tanker is 1800 gallons, pump is failing and unweldable hole in the tanks.
Let’s do the following plan for the next two fiscal years.
FY 16/17 – Used Tanker Purchase - $50K
FY 17/18 – WTP New Utility Truck - $32K (Possibly bump to this year if council approves full water rates increase)
FY 17/18 – PW New Utility Truck - $32K
FY 17/18 – PW New Back Hoe - $130K
