I just got off the phone with Rick from ERS. He understands our financial situation and need to possibly do the work in house. He did say the quote includes the removal of the media, inspection work as given in the inspection quote and media replacement. So that is better than I originally thought and something to compare to.
We also talked about saving the media for reuse. This recommended that it needs to be removed by hand. He said the vac truck with break down the Anthracite so that it is not reusable. He also cautioned that we be careful when moving around the filter itself. Primarily around the filter nozzles, they can be damaged easily if bumped. Just something to be aware of anyways.
