Hi Chris,
I have had a few questions come to me today from the electrical contractor. I’m not certain if you have received an RFI for all their questions? In addition to the question in the RFI attached above the electrical contractor has concerns about the following:
· The black round JB in the tree well is identified to be placed at grade, assuming just below the tree grate. If this is the case, the JB lid cannot be removed since the hand hole on the tree grate is smaller than diameter. Can this round tree well JB be lowered 6”-12”?
· The trench backfill is not identified in the plans or specials for the landscape lighting. I assume we would want them to follow ODOT specs for illumination? Or the Illumination system specials Section 00964? The electrical contractor currently disposing of all the material, but is asking if the native backfill can be reused above the pipe zone bedding for the lighting conduit?
Just a heads up, they are on hold right now for the landscape lighting until an answer is received in regards to the above RFI.
