Hi Everyone,

We had a customer complaint yesterday from a home owner who lives near the water line repair that was made. She had asked that we provide more of an advanced notice when making repairs. I don’t know if it would have changed anything to provide the notice, but apparently she was blocked in her driveway and would have moved her car had she known a day in advance.

Moving forward, unless it is an emergency, let’s make it a policy to provide a 24 hour advance notice with door hangers that may affect anyone in the area. For example we could of posted the notices on Monday morning, or the afternoon before had it been a workday.

I don’t suspect it will eliminate complaints, but at least we’ve given sufficient notice as to when the work will be done.
