You are correct the language regarding field duplicate collection is not in there, which was an oversight on my part. We can collect a replicate from the surface interval by hand auger. I assume collecting the replicate from approximately 5 feet away from each of the drilled locations would be appropriate.

I could find no mention of a duplicate in the plan. To test field variability a replicate is preferred over a duplicate, which tests analytical variability. I was thinking collecting a replicate from the surface interval, where presumably you would not need the drill rig. That is the only comment I have. Please clarify what you intend to collect. A revised plan is not necessary. Thanks!

Hi Mark,
Attached is our work plan to sample the agricultural field as discussed. After reviewing the area in question, I opted to go with one decision unit, 50 locations and a duplicate. We plan on getting out there to sample as soon as the plan is approved.
