Hi Andy,

Was the 1 mg/l = the residual do in the bod bottle after 5 days, or the amount of d.o. consumed? Or was it the bod in the effluent being discharged?

I have to go the Georgia – Leaving Saturday and Returning Friday – Sister is in the last stage of cancer, under hospice care. I will be available by phone.

Good Morning Bob,

Yesterday (3/28/18) all 3 DMS bod5 samples came back below 1 mg/L. We are cleaning the composite sampler and lines with bleach this morning, and then we plan on Grabbing samples from

-Chlorine Contact Basin,

-effluent pump house wet well,

-1x from DMS before bleach,

-1x after bleach.

Our plan was to run Idexx tests on those samples today and see if we can find where bugs might be in the system that are causing our tests to fail. We are also taking a round of BOD5 samples in to Edge Laboratories today to ensure our instruments and methods aren’t the problem.

I know you’ve had some personal issues come up. Everything okay? I hope things calm down for you. In any case, we could use your initial report, even in draft form, at your convenience.
