Bob I found a document from the company that supplies our polyseed reagent about how to prepare sample bottles for BOD5. FAQ #2 clearly states Chlorine bleach is not recommend for bottle cleaning. Unless you feel otherwise I’m thinking we should start looking for an autoclave big enough to get our bottles clean without exposing our sampling to Chlorine. For the record, according to the operators the move to cleaning with chlorine came from Mr. Clifford.
