Subject: FOLLOWING UP Daily RWUP Compliance Checklist
Importance: Normal
Gerald, just to close the loop:
I’ve updated the Daily RWUP Compliance Checklist to account for Dyers comments. Purely for documentation I’ve included my answers/thoughts in red, just so we both know this checklist was addressed by us staffers. It’s certainly improved our checklist. I’m going to finalize the SOP and put this Checklist into use. Nothing is set in stone so if we find a mistake or area for improvement we will adjust, naturally.
Thanks,
Andy

Ryan,
I’ve reviewed the draft daily recycled water checklist and have the following comments.
DEQ’s Internal Management Directive ‘Implementing Oregon’s Recycled Water Use Rules’ states that the following types of records should be considered;
Many of these record suggestions don’t apply, and several remain unchanged day-to-day, but reviewing the above list and incorporating relevant items is recommended.
Here is a list of the originally proposed checklist items, with a few additional items inserted, for your consideration;
Should definitely keep things simple and straightforward, so feel free to omit any of the above items that are unnecessary.
I think taking and filing pictures of field conditions would be beneficial in countering any future claims of non-compliance.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,

Ryan,
I have not had a chance to compare this to the RWUP yet. Please take a quick look with Tyler and let me know if anything critical pops out as missing to either of you. Thanks.

Subject: Daily RWUP Compliance Checklist
Gerald, this is our first try at a daily checklist. I’m sure we will tweak it as we go, but the important question is: will this work for you in your future meetings with Bear Creak and DEQ? Let me know if you’d like to see more/less or different. We are hoping on our end to consolidate a few other loose lab sheets into this single checklist. And if you approve, we’ll write an official SOP to go along with it.
Thanks,
Andy Peters
