Importance: Normal

Hello Gerald,

Chemical Flocculation Units are the DAF’s. Chemical Addition Systems are the ACH pumps for the DAF’s. Fine Screen Preliminary (I know it as Pretreatment) Treatment is the barscreen. The Design ADWF can be reduced to .7 mgd from 1.0 mgd. The population is 9620. The Bacteriological Analysis (performed by outside lab) point could be dropped, but we’re so far away from a Class IV facility that it wouldn’t make any difference. Other effluent limitations would need temp added to it.

Thanks,

Jason

Subject: WWTP Class Verification

Hi Jason,

Please take a look at the attached certification worksheet done by DEQ for our treatment plant. Since this effects our permit, I want to make sure that we are not receiving points for items that don’t exist. I am questioning Chemical Flocculation Units, Chemical Addition Systems, and Fine Screen Preliminary Treatment in our system. Please let me know if you see any errors. Thanks.

Regards,
