On another note, I’ll be setting up a meeting with the Contract firm, INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS, whom we use for our SCADA applications at the water and wastewater plants in the coming weeks. When I have a date I’ll let you know, but I’m hoping someone from your team can attend a short portion of that meeting to help us go through options? I’m thinking if we can just get a few of the right folks talking we might see some very good ideas arise…
Right now at the plants we are using old internet connected XP boxes, local databases (no backups), and less than optimal remote access capabilities (3rd party software ‘logmein rescue.exe’). My guess is, if we just talk to the right folks (you!) we can get this stuff cast to a good virtual server fairly painlessly. We are all keenly aware that these XP machines running our critical operations are vulnerable to zero-day exploits that will never be patched. We are using Cimplicity V 8.20 Build 20551 Scada, and I’ve got other integration pieces I might be able to do on the same server (work order system, GPS data collection, etc.) which I can sketch out during the meeting.

Good Afternoon Andy,
Sorry for the late reply. I was out of the office all morning. I will whitelist the lincc.org domain for CITY employees. A decision was made to quarantine .docx and .doc files (attachments) due to high quantity of Cryptowall and Ransomware attempts/attacks. It will take an hour or so to whitelist the domain.
Gerald I will work on getting the names removed and creating the new group and adding Andy to the SHOPS group.
If anything comes up, please let me know.

Good Morning Stuart! Could someone help us make sure the @lincc.org domain is white listed for email filters, so that the library district staff can send us emails and attachments? Library staff reports several cases of trying to send us email and getting quarantined.
