Subject: Flow Meter

Jason,

See the attached flow meter quote. The purchase order will need to be made out to ABB/CO Correct Equipment, note that freight is not included. I will need the credit application filled out and returned to Crystal and myself along with the purchase order and then we will process.

A couple of things. We need to ensure that this pipe is always full and I want to make sure that the installation also includes an air relief valve (it wasn’t included and it should be, supplied by McClure) at the high point. Secondly we would want to see the meter as far away from the 45 elbow as possible. We don’t expect much interference from these and should see roughly 1% error or less being right next to it. Lastly, we would want to make sure that the electrodes of the flow meter are not in line with the bend and should be on the sides so they pick up the laminar flow.

Please let me know if you have questions but we should move on this very quickly.

Best Regards,
