Dan,

Here are the conditions for moving to Water Curtailment Level 2.

Palmer Drought Index -3 to -4 and/or (Condition met in July)

SWSI (-2.5 to -3.25) and/or (NRCS website down)

Water use reaches 90% capacity for 2 days and/or (1,350,000 is 90% and community is using about 85% capacity)

Staff assessment. (River water surface is 1” above the intake)

The community needs to curtail its use immediately or we will go into Level 2 citywide.
