All –

Please be aware the property owners plan to hold a family wedding event next weekend on the property. We do not know the number of people that are planning to attend, but we do know they plan to have several RVs on site. We have again advised them that they cannot use the holding tank & piping that has been installed on the property, and suggested they contract with a provider to bring in temporary portable toilets for the event.

We are still working with them to gain compliance with applicable rules regarding the unpermitted holding tank, and have given them a deadline of July 5th to demonstrate that the tank has been decommissioned/removed in accordance with applicable DEQ rules.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have on this.

Subject: Septic System at Water Intake

Mr. Huff,

Eric Englebert from Clackamas County contacted me this morning and explained the situation at 33000 S. Molalla Forest Road, where the property owner is installing an illegal septic system near our City’s water intake. Mr. Englebert assured me that Clackamas County has two open violations on this property and is taking care of the matter. The owner has no trespassing signs up, so I offered access to City property if the County Code Enforcement folks run in to road blocks and need access for pictures or information.

Ryan H and I will keep an open work order on our load reports, and check on this over the coming months. I’m sure the County will help us resolve this issue, but if we still see problems we’ll get back together in a few months.

Mr. Englebert offered his phone number in case you additional questions 503-742-4625.

Thanks,

Andy Peters
