Gerald, the plant manager over at Brentwood called me and said he’s willing to pay the bill for a repair of Industrial Way in the street at their driveway approach, which years of slow heavy truck traffic has spalled the asphalt. Rather than telling him “get a contractor and have them do the ROW permit” I would like to do the repair to the street with Newman. This would certainly be easier for Brentwood as they are not set up to run contracts for folks in the ROW, they they are an extremely good industrial partner, and I like the idea of taking credit for any street repairs right now. Are you okay with me proceeding like this? Plenty of money in the budget. I’m guessing $6500 repair.
