Thanks for that. Do you have some preferred local contractors that aren’t trying to retire off of a little asphalt patch? We’ve got a couple but the prices are always all over the place. I also notice that the whole street is pretty much trashed for probably 200 yards either direction of my project. It looks as though there are plans in place to correct an approach about 60’ away or 2 houses down. I sure would stupid filling in a patch on an otherwise past end of life asphalt street. When is other work happening on the street so that I may possibly get mine done at that time?

Hi Eric,

The concrete passed. For the paving in front you will need to clean out the garbage, roots and excess rock to provide for a 3” lift of asphalt. The asphalt can be placed in one lift (3” max) per our PW standards. They will also need to sand-seal the edges. Call or email me with paving is done so we can final the PW permit.
