Subject: Request for Quote - Designating Local Truck Route in Molalla

Importance: Normal

Hi Scott,

Our City Council is interested in the cost to prepare and successfully process a local truck route in Molalla that will eliminate trucks along Molalla Avenue from Section Street/6th Street at the south end to Heintz Street at the north end. Trucks would use Shaver Avenue and Section Street to access Hwy 211 and Molalla Avenue south and Heintz Street and Grange Avenue to access Hwy 211 and Molalla Avenue north. I found an approval process dated July 26, 2007 but am not sure if a more recent edition exists. We have a City Council meeting on May 9th to discuss the process and talk about costs to have your firm handle all of the documentation to allow ODOT to approve a truck route. I understand that you will not likely have a scope of work and cost together by the first of next week so let me know if I need to bring that portion back to the Council with costs on the 23rd. I can at least cover the process with them if the 2007 document is correct. Let me know if it is. Thanks Scott and let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Gerald Fisher, P.E. | Public Works Director
