Sounds good. Also, if they come across any of the “Service vehicle only” signs then those can come down and a 25 MPH sign can go up in its place. Any “children at play” signs need to be removed and recycled. Posts can come out if not usable for speed sign just after an intersection or some other use. Thanks Andy.

Subject: Regulatory Street Signs this winter

Gerald I have the whole town scheduled for an inspection and replacement of any NON PERFECT street sign, and for regulatory CROSSWALK AHEAD signs as discussed yesterday. This email is just to verify requirements before we proceed. The plan is…

By 11/23/18 – get a plan together for marking Safe Routes to School crosswalks with regulatory “crosswalk ahead” signs

By 12/15/18 – Clean up and inventory the sign shop. This will include replacing any sign in the field that is worse than the signs we find in the shop.

By 1/15/19 – Arterials and Collectors (both major and minor)

By 1/30/19 – Safe Routes to School CROSSWALK AHEAD signs are all installed.

By 2/30/19 – Local streets NW quadrant

By 3/15/19 – Local streets NE quadrant

By 3/31/19 – Local streets SW and SE quadrants

We will stop if we hit the budget.
