It makes sense why they have not held up under the traffic amounts, buses, and garbage trucks. The new standard for that roadway based on classification is 12” rock and 6” of AC per sections 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 of the PW Standards. Quick conversion in structural strength is that the existing roadway section is 54% of what it should be.
