Gerald and Sam,
I hope you both are staying safe right now.
I understand we were able to make connections and have someone inspect that and then email over the compaction results. My understanding is that we had approval to rock the street to the top to wait for asphalt.
Now my guess is that everything is on hold until we know more about the fires and the safety of coming back to work. The asphalt needs to be completed and then the approval of the sidewalk concrete mix then do that work. Please let me know if we are on the same page.

This is my formal request for inspections on Tuesday, here is my time line and my excavator who will be the one leading the job to keep him updated.

We will be starting work first thing in the morning
I would guess an initial connections inspection could be ready around 11am- please talk to excavator onsite
Compaction test is scheduled for 12pm which I know you will want to see
Asphalt pour is scheduled for around 1pm pending your inspection and compact
The final sidewalk is on hold until I get you the concrete mix and then we can do the initial concrete form inspection.

Sam,
I have attached the asphalt mix design for you. I also have the compaction test tent. Scheduled for 12pm on Tuesday and Asphalt for 1pm on Tuesday.
After talking to my concrete contractor (T Nelson Concrete) cc’d on this email; he is concerned he may not get the concrete mix design email until Tuesday, that company is out for the Holiday. I don’t want that to delay our state date. Would you ever make an exception and be able to wait for the concrete mix. We were never going to pour the concrete Tuesday anyways. The asphalt and street work were my biggest concern and with needed a pre-pour sidewalk form inspections we can’t do the concrete pour right away?
