Gerald,

I emailed Andy earlier and let him know I am available the week of the 19th or 26th (except for Wednesday of both weeks) to smoke test any of that area. Just let me know when you guys are ready.

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan,

At this point we are not certain that additional houses are connected. We will need to clean the storm system and then do a smoke test of the system and if necessary video inspect the lines. This may have been a surcharge from the recently repaired cross-connection or it may be a new issue but at this point we don’t know. We will have to document all of this with DEQ, our steps, and actions to show due diligence in searching out cross connections.

Ryan, I’ve got other another problem in the collection system now: remember that house we had mis-connected to sewer? Well, we un-sur-charged the storm sewer that I was leaving alone until we got it fixed, and sewerage came down stream when we unplugged it. Crew says lots of it. This means there are more houses connected on the wider storm system in that sub-division. Is it possible to schedule you for another day of smoke testing? I need to smoke the entire subdivision storm lines, and document with video.
