Hi Andy,
This is on us since we didn’t ensure that the contractor connected to the right location. Don’t know if we had building inspection in-house at this time or contracted it out. Either way, we have to make it right. I spoke with Dan and he agreed.
We will need to get a cost together from a plumber to install a sewer lateral with a cleanout outside the front of the house and connect to the pipe under the home, disconnect and cap the pipe that leads to the storm sewer, and cover all permits associated with the work from the ROW to the connection point under his house. If over $5K then we need 3 quotes.

Subject: 1225 Meadowlawn
Gerald, this is the mis-connected house in Big Meadow. I’m not entirely sure how to proceed. Some options:
1) Dig it up and fix it ourselves, and forget about it
2) Tell him he has x days to fix it
3) Fix it for him and send him a no-markup bill
4) Fix it for him and split the bill
Thoughts?
