Hi Adam,

Please see Park Signs.pdf and see my comments below. I have attached PDF’s of the signs for each location. Please order the signs and once they arrive have someone install them. If there is any question about the location they can contact me and we can do a field fit. We need to have the signs up before the season starts and I am getting pressure to have the rules posted ASAP. Thanks for your help.

Hi Andy,

The sign maps for Long, Basketball, Fox, Sheets, and Rotary look good. The proposed sign locations in Clark are good but we need one more in the southwest corner by the access in the fence near the intersection of Shirley and Cole. In Ivor Davies, we do not own the ground along the north south path from 5th Street. It is still owned by Avison. Let’s add a new sign at the entrance for the actual park grounds and have the crews make sure the new sign is up in the ROW. If looking south from the street the sign could go on the east side of the path entrance and have the sign face north towards the sidewalk and roadway. The cub scout troop sign can stay on the existing pole for now. Eventually that strip of land will belong to the City but for now Avison is nicely refusing to grant the property to us. Thanks.

Gerald, back in October you asked for the following plan for removing old signs in all City Parks, and installing new ones. Cody has done this work, on WO#3999, and has completed an excelling layout. Blue stars are the planned locations of the new signs, yellow are the locations of old signs that will be yanked. Last time we spoke you requested the opportunity to review these plans before we proceeded. Let us know what you think?

Cody, one more favor on this please, before I pass it to Gerald:

  1. 1. Put both color stars on the same map
  2. 2. Put all maps in a single word document.
  3. 3. Once all are in one place, got to FILE => PRINT => select Printer “Microsoft Print to PDF” => Hit the PRINT button => select a place to temporarily save the new PDF
  4. 4. Send both the PDF and the original single word document to me.

Thant should be gold! If you have trouble with this we’ll do it together this afternoon before the Tuesday Meeting.

Thanks,

Andy Peters
