No ADA sign at this time. This lot is part of a future project to bring it into compliance. If you post a sign now then it will trigger full compliance that may trickle over to a restroom rebuild if it isn’t 100% ADA compliant. The disabled park user will have to be patient while we rebuild our park system over then next several years. Thanks.

Well, the disabled park user is correct, there is no ADA designated spot in the north lot at Clark park. My guess is that no improvements triggering ADA have been done to the lot, ever. Gerald, do you have any concerns about making the spot in the image attached should get an ADA sign?

I needed the restroom but no parking was available by restrooms during a dog show. a handicap parking is not designated by a sign any where in the park. T he bathrooms are handicap marked but no parking available by access sidewalk.. Can the city add a handicap parking with a sign by the North sidewalk? Is the city in compliance with Federal law?
