Gerald, I confirmed with the Powell’s that Martin Trerise is still our primary contact for the BMX group. The Powell’s just had some questions, which we worked through. I told them to run their ideas Martin and submit a plan/proposal to us, if they decided on one, which we can respond to. Everyone seems happy.

Andy,

Please review the agreement. I am not going to be able to get back to her anytime soon. After you look at the agreement, can you look into this and see what they want to do? Last time I heard anything they wanted to remove trees and were looking at getting an arborist to determine the health. There are new folks managing the track now but I don’t know who is in charge or who has changed in positions. My last contact was Martin Trerise at doc_trerise@comcast.net and his number was 503.913.7089.

Subject: BMX Track Tree Trimming

Hello,

I have been volunteering down at the BMX track with my family and we were wondering what the process is for trimming the trees that are on the property? Is that something that requires a permit, does the City need to be involved since it is City owned?

Thank you for your time,

Jeny Powell
