Gerald,

I agree this would be my first reaction as well, however I forwarded it to

our insured to see what they say.

Would our insurance folks not be OK with use of equipment? My knee jerk

reaction from prior requests says that we are not likely going to be

approved without substantial risk.

Hi Martin,

We have an old roller but I am not sure that it runs or has run in a long

time. Your best bet would be to see if one of the rental places would

donate the use of jumping jacks for the project. I don't think we can loan

out our equipment from an insurance and liability standpoint. Those kinds

of things were done years ago but with lawsuits and insurance claims,

attorneys and plaintiffs had taken away agencies abilities to participate.

I will ask our risk folks if there is anything we can do but will have to

get the blessing first from our insurance attorneys. Let me get back to

you.

Gerald,

Hello Gerald. I hope your week has been good. It looks like we will

hopefully have the rebuilding team out at the track the first or second

week of June. We have acquired most of the equipment needed for the job,

but are still in need of a roller compactor. I was hoping the City of

Molalla might have access to one that we could use to compact the track.

It is an incredibly important piece of equipment that is needed to

properly finish the riding surface. Please let me know if you can help us

out.

Thanks for your assistance,

ps. Thanks for putting me in contact with Andrew at PGE. He is trying to

get some volunteers to help us with the lighting.
