Below is my draft of our response to the listing agent and the attachment. Let me know if it’s okay or if I need to make any changes. Thanks!

Ginger

Hello John,

Thank you for your patience while we put together the costs for reestablishing water and sewer service at 529 Hart Ave in Molalla, OR. Following is the list of what has to be done:

  1. 1. Pay damage fee of $1,780.50 for costs to the City to protect water system.
  2. 2. Pay water system development charge, currently $3,943, for establishing new connection. Note that SDC’s will go up based on local area inflation sometime in March.
  3. 3. Pay $600 water hook up fee.
  4. 4. Pay $150 Right-of-way Permit fee for inspection of water service connection.
  5. 5. Hire contractor, recognized by the CCB to do public waterline work, to perform waterline connection.
  6. 6. Once inspection is completed and service is approved, contact the Finance Department to request the water meter to be set by Public Works Department. There is a $100 deposit required for service that is refundable after 12 on-time payments or when the house is sold.

Please note that the above costs do not include any other fees required by other departments. Once items 1-6 are completed, our Public Works department will close the code enforcement file on this property.

Attached to this email is the correspondence that was sent to PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, the previous owner.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.
