Attached is a letter with all of the background information for the water meter question at Toliver Estates mobile park. The existing 3” meter will serve a total of 50 units. Once the 51st comes in to Planning, Public Works will need to activate the second meter (Andy is monitoring this) and Finance will need to adjust the account to include the second meter. I’ve included enough folks so that this shouldn’t fall through the cracks and have asked Christie to set up a Toliver Estates file in the Public Works files for this information as a back-up. The historical documents were woefully lacking information and this takes care of that.
As time goes on and the lots continue to be developed, we (Planning and Public Works) will need to make sure Finance is up to speed on new homes so they can adjust the utility billing account accordingly. They will need the address that has been added so that Ginger can make a note in the utility system of when a home is added. Their account is different than a typical service. Toliver Estates is charged a base water meter fee, water use fee, base sewer fee based on the total number of units, sewer use fee based on water use, and stormwater fee based on number of EDU’s.
