K. Sounds good. Go ahead and draft a letter to update folks on that street so they know you are working on it.

Subject: service saddles on Storey
Gerald, we dug up those two services that the listener indicated were causing the failed pressure tests on Storey Drive. Guess what…bad saddles. They are shutting down the main and repairing them. Then we will pressure test again. The upshot is that we’ve got a pretty positive way to ID these kinds of leaky services on our high pressure lines now, I’m still thinking we should start going systematically through sections of town, and start repairing these. At least on the high pressure mains.
We still have the straddle block to do on Storey too, and possibly more services if we fail the pressure test again. So although folks on that road want to know when their road will be re-paved, we are just not ready. Will keep you informed, naturally.
