Got it, Thanks. Dennis found a device in their side yard- Ryan gave them a list of contacts for backflow testing and let her know that they had until 4pm Friday to get it tested or the service would be shutoff. I’ll let you know if and when I receiver test results.

No. She doesn’t even know if there is a backflow and doesn’t know that there are testing requirements or if it has been tested. I raised the issue because if they have connected a system without a backflow, are not on the list, and have not tested a backflow device then we have multiple problems with the property owner. As in a lot of instances, they likely don’t know or understand what their responsibilities are for water safety.

I have no backflow device on record for this address. I’ll do a physical inspection when we grab some BACT samples. Is the owner thinking there was a backflow incident here?
