Hi Dan,

Ryan has been in contact with Mr. Salter. It appears that he is upset that

he has to comply with state law when others around him may not be reporting

that they have a system. I don’t know where he is at in the City but if he

is in a neighborhood then we can draft a letter to go out to all resident to

contact us about their sprinkler systems and give them a one-time chance to

come clean and test their backflow devices. After that it will be

enforcement action for anyone not following state law. This can include

fines and the potential of locking off their water meter until a system is

in, tested, and approved. They can't live in a house without water or sewer

per plumbing code. Do you want us to move forward with the blanket letter??

Regardless, we can follow up with Mr. Salter and let him know that he still

needs to comply with state law.

Regards,

Gerald,

Here's the message from Mr. Salter. He is writing in response to the

backflow test notice I sent him on the first of June.
