Hi Diane,

We received the following attachments from a representative of the

Stagecoach Inn. It is unclear what the signage requirements are and I have

not found any signage at the intersection of Molalla/Hwy 211 or N

Molalla/Heintz providing direction to this establishment. A more

appropriate location for a sign should be at the intersection of

Grange/Hwy 211. This will give motorists on the highway a direct link to

the Stagecoach Inn as it is located at the intersection of Grange/Heintz.

I've been working in the area for approximately 2 years and have never

seen these signs. In fact, ODOT Region 1 has removed several unapproved

signs from the intersection of Molalla/Hwy 211 but again I don't ever

remember seeing a lodging sign at this location. Public Works has no

objection to lodging signs being placed at the intersection of Grange/Hwy

211 providing motorist a direct route to lodging via Grange. As this is a

state highway, no City permit is required to install a sign at this
