Hi Adam,

This is fill in work for you and you can recruit Darren and Shawn to assist.

See email from the Chief below. We have had some issues with restrooms not being locked and need to make sure everything is in order on our end before we ask PD to do their rounds and secure the sites. Please verify that all of the locks are PA9. Please verify that the mag-locks are working and the times are programmed correctly. Once done, please put together an written assessment (email is fine) of all of the Park restroom facilities and send me a write-up of the issues that need to be addressed.

Regards,

Subject: Parks and Restrooms

Gerald,

Just letting you know that my officers and I have been checking our restrooms in the parks regularly. To sum things up, we have found them open several times. Either the locks aren’t set up properly regarding the times, or they are malfunctioning. To make matters worse, our officers don’t have the keys to fit some of the back doors where the locking devices are set. Last Friday, just before 0600 hours, I found the southern-most door at the BMX track blocked open with the stopper down, but nobody was in it. They could have been because both doors were unlocked and my key would not let me into the back door. Our PA9 key doesn’t work the deadbolt.

At 2200 hours last night, both doors were unlocked at the BMX park but no one was inside. We were unable to secure them. We need to get our systems working or set properly or we are wasting our time. It’s up to you as to whether you want us to have keys for the back doors, but as it sits, we have no access.

I hope this gives you a better understanding.

Chief
