The sign above the city hall entrance looks really good at eye level, but when we installed it above the door the wood “fins” that are created by sand-blasting tight grain cedar had a slightly different look. I’m going to plan on installing them next Saturday. I chose Saturday so when we install the city hall & police department signs we won’t have to worry about blocking the entrances. I was out there Sunday looking at the Police Department entrance where the sign goes. I know how I’d like to mount the City Hall and Police Department signs but I’m just curious, it appears to be similar to a cement/plaster board material.
