It’s my understanding they were called out a couple times and could not easily access the injured. The access issue would have been addressed through the special event permit process. As a reminder, the coordinator was told they needed to complete the permit months prior to the event, however did not do so until the DAY OF the event, when Dennis Welle went out and hand delivered it to them. It was not approved and not completed in its entirety. This may be something we want to address as a condition of the Lease Agreement? Well here they are. With this I was told that there were small BMX riders that were riding out from between the vehicles and one was almost hit. Please note how the slide outs on the travel trailers decrease access width. If you need more info, Lt Byron Wakefield took these photos. He would be able to explain in more detail. Michael C.
