Has any correspondence - letters, emails, PENS, etc about the wastewater issues in Molalla occurred between DEQ staff and the City of Molalla/ Ring Bender since the July 5 meeting? Have any meetings occurred - if so when? Has DEQ updated its draft MAO? The DEQ draft MAO failed to reflect the 24 days of Class One discharge violations into the Molalla River in May/ June 2017. Thanks for providing transparency on your process.
Also, how much time does DEQ allow to pass in fruitless negotiations before it acts on the growing number of serious violations, most noted in the draft MAO, less the 24 days of Class One discharge violations in May/ June. It is now going on TEN MONTHS since the Class One discharge violations in October (resulting in a PEN) and about six month overdue for a plan to test ground water to see if the lagoons are leaking. Does DEQ intend to allow the stalling to go on forever and to allow the violations to continue to occur?

We are in discussions about setting up a time to meet about the MAO. With everyone’s schedules, it is taking some time. I don’t know exactly when it will occur, but we are working on it. There has been no communication in written form shared since the July 5th meeting.
