Thanks Tiffany. It will serve our community to have the local paper be able to report on our lawsuit settlement and this fine / violations in one story. It is really sad that after a year in litigation Molalla still failed to report in a timely manner. I am glad DEQ finally fined them, since a fine and a lawsuit might wake them up to comply in the future. Susan

Hello Susan
Attached are two letters, the Pre-Enforcement Notification and the final penalty letter. The Pre-Enforcement Notice letter provides an option for the city to provide additional information so it represents a step in the investigatory process. Once DEQ issues the final penalty, that is our conclusion of the investigation.

Dear DEQ officials,
Please find attached a PIR requesting an electronic copy of the letter Tiffany Yelton-Bram indicated was sent to the City of Molalla last week regarding the outcome of the DEQ investigation of the raw sewage spill that happened at the Molalla waste water plant earlier this year. A prompt response would be highly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Susan Hansen
