Thank you for letting us know. Yes, DEQ has reiterated the message to the city that having many approved recycled water sites available puts the city in the best position to use recycled water beneficially in the summer.

Subject: One of Molalla's approved wastewater sites up for development: Land Use Application
Dear Tiffany and Nina,
Please note that one of Molalla's approved land application wastewater disposal sites - the "nursery site" - is proposed to be divided to be used as two residential home sites, per the attached land use application. This would be 26 acres less available for Molalla's land application of wastewater in the summer months. It has been Bear Creek Recovery's understanding that DEQ has urged Molalla to find more sites for land application.
