The meetings do not necessarily need to be sequenced a certain way (in my opinion) but I believe the city would like them in this order: 1) technical meeting with DEQ staff who can answer questions related to a potential permit modification, and 2) a MAO language work session. The city’s legal counsel proposed January 26th or 29th for the technical meeting and I replied that the 26th works (and I need more detail about what they want to cover). In my reply, I stated that the MAO meeting would be spate and that we still need to schedule it. I have not received a response. Jeff and I would be the appropriate folks for the MAO meeting with the city. Prior to that meeting, Jeff and I should sit down to create a clean copy of the MAO that has what we feel is full scope of the MAO—we’ve done this before but we are picking this up after working on other things so a refresh on it together before meeting with the city is important. I am going to remind the city that we are still waiting on their acceptance of the 26th for the tech meeting and still need to schedule the MAO meeting.
